Since its founding in 1915, Marine Band San Diego has provided musical and ceremonial support in a wide variety of commitments ranging from Hollywood films to Marine Corps change of commands, public parades to recruiting tours, patriotic convention openings to recruit graduations.
Marine Band San Diego performs aboard the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in support of Recruit Training Regiment Graduations and other military ceremonies. In addition, the band performs at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, Holiday Bowl Parade, and at many other venues and events throughout the Western United States.
